Get an insider's look of the historic farm in the heart of Queens
Take a farm tour with Cristian Gilces, urban agriculturist, founder of CluckCluckMooMoo, and student at John Bowne High School in Queens! John Bowne is located in Flushing, NYC and is the site of a historical landmark as well as a functioning farm stewarded by high school students.
From Cristian: "I am thrilled to show you the program that got me to where I am today, the John Bowne Agriculture Program! I am partnering with GrowNYC to showcase all of John Bowne's agricultural facilities that include a large animal barn, 4 bay greenhouse, hydroponics system, and production fields. Additionally, I will be doing a short demonstration on seeding to get everyone ready for the growing season."
