Cold Weather Crops
Updated: Apr 6, 2021
Want to extend your growing season into the cooler weather? New York City is in USDA Climate Zone 7b, so the outdoor growing season generally runs from May-November (after the last frost and before the first frost). Watch our workshop below "Cold Weather Crops: Low Tunnels and High Tunnels" to learn how to use tunnels to extend your growing season, and what types of plants work well for colder weather growing.
