Healthy, Tasty Beverage Ideas

Learn about infusing water to make healthy beverages! We visited one of our GrowNYC community gardens, the Marcus Garvey Tenant's Association Garden in Brownsville, Brooklyn to hear ideas of how to use garden produce to make different herbal teas, ice cubes and infusions. We also investigated the sugar content of store-bought beverages. Check out the video below!


Infusing apples, cucumber, melon, and herbs in your water for a few hours can make it fun and interesting, and add nutrients. Kids can even use child-safe knives to cut up their favorite fruits and make their own specialty water infusion. What are your creative combos for water infusions?
